Chapman Farm

Chapman Farm provides a perfect holiday retreat for all seasons and is set in a quiet location on Edale Road - a few yards from the 16thC Cheshire Cheese Inn and a mere 7 minute level walk from the centre of Hope village. It is ideally situated for exploring the superb countryside and visiting the many places of local interest such as Castleton (home of the Blue John stone), Bakewell, Buxton, Eyam, Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall. Chapman Farm offers both BED and BREAKFAST and SELF-CATERING accommodation.

With ample parking, a lock-up cycle shed and drying facilities, Chapman Farm is an excellent base for the walking and cycling opportunities that abound in the Hope Valley.

B & B Accommodation:

• One twin-bedded room with vanity unit
• One double-bedded room with TV

These share either a separate guest bathroom pedestal basin, shower, bath and WC. Both rooms have tea/coffee making facilities. There is a guest TV lounge/breakfast room. (Breakfast is a choice of full English or vegetarian options.)

Chapman Farm Cottages:

Byre Cottage and Vernon Cottage have been tastefully converted to combine old world charm and original features with modern accommodation to make your stay relaxing and comfortable. The cottages have gas central heating and quality linen and towels are provided.

Both have open-plan ground floor sitting/dining rooms with comfortable seating, and a shower room and bedroom/s at first floor level. Each cottage is provided with cast-iron electric fire, radio/CD player and TV.

The kitchen areas are well-equipped with electric cooker, gas hob, fridge (Vernon Cottage has fridge-freezer), dishwasher, microwave and kettle.

Byre Cottage sleeps 2 (king sized bed). ?220 - ?320 per week.

Vernon Cottage sleeps 4 (1 x double bed + 1 x twin beds) ?320 - ?420 per week.

Short term lets are offered out of season and may be available at short notice at other times also.

How to Find Chapman Farm: The village of Hope is on the A625 (previously A6187) between Hathersage and Castleton. Chapman Farm is situated on the Edale Road, a few yards from the 16th century Cheshire Cheese Inn.
