Our accommodation, in the centre of Hope village, is in homely 16th century cottages next to Woodbine Cafe. We have six rooms - twin and double - most with ensuite facilities. All our rooms are centrally heated. We have a guest lounge with TV and tea making facilities, off road parking and drying facilities for your wet clothing and boots. For those of you with bikes we have secure overnight storage for your peace of mind. Hearty breakfasts are provided with plenty of choice and special diets are catered for on request. Group bookings accepted. When the weather is good we have a tea garden at the back of the cafe, full of fuchsias and other plants in the summer months. It makes a welcome stop for fortification before - or after - the challenge of Lose Hill and Win Hill. For those of you with dogs, we have seating on the front. Inside, muddy boots are not turned away, and a log fire is lit on cold days to warm your toes. Our open log fire is famous for warming you through on cold, wet days, especially in winter when the wind is biting cold. Don\'t get too close or you might melt! Homemade foods, using the finest ingredients, are prepared on the premises. Our cakes and pastries are available for you to take away, as are sandwiches and jacket potatoes. We also stock a wide range of books, maps, postcards and greetings cards which are on sale in the cafe. Everyone is welcome in the cafe including walkers, cyclists, bikers, off-road motor bikers, cavers, climbers, flyers - and anyone else who is passing! We hope you will be able to visit us soon. |
